Greater Knox Bodybuilding and Figure Classic, 2006
The 2006 Greater Knox Classic was held in the John Cox Auditorium in the University of Tennessee Alumni Center, Knoxville, Tennessee, Saturday, Aug. 12. It was an excellent location, with tiered seats, suitable for concerts, plays, or any other function. A single problem was that the lobby area, the only level area for exhibitors, interviews, etc. was extremely cramped. The Bearden High School Auditorium where it was held previously was also more than adequate, and both facilities are superior to the sites at which many national events are held. The highlight of the show for many was guest poser James "Flex" Lewis from Wales, current Mr. Universe, Mr. Europe and Jr. Mr. Britain.
